Great crested Grebes

The Great Crested Grebes have built a great nest on Ham Wall Nature reserve, Somerset Levels this year.
I have been very lucky managing to photograph them Dancing, 'weeding' and nest building. I went back again on Monday this week and noticed that one egg and hatched. The chick gave us all a few moments of concern as is ventured off the nest into the water. However the parents were very quick to return it to the safety of the nest. I have also just heard that 3 chicks have now hatched, cheers for that Rob.

Update - Grebes chicks all doing very well, had good views of all 3 this week. Mum and dad are doing a great job of looking after them, even if they do all fall off when mum has a shake! Doesn't dad look proud in the photo?
