Fox cubs

The Fox cubs are exploring further afield now if somewhat nervously. There is a definite pecking order amongst the litter, the largest male takes great pleasure stalking his siblings and then diving into the middle of them, sending them all scattering!
 The smallest cub who ‘J’ has named ‘squealer’ is getting even more boisterous, hissing and squealing at anything that gets to close. While sitting in the hide the other evening I suddenly realised that there was now 7 cubs out. I had previously only seen 4? I suspect this is possibly an extended family a sibling of the breeding vixen perhaps, something that I have heard of but never seen.
